REFLECTIONS FROM ELMINA. Pt. 1

I had the privilege of spending the weekend in Elmina, located in the Central region of Ghana.  The joy of waking up to the roaring of the sea waves was simply indescribable (I think I should do more of such trips). I learnt a great deal from the place. It was also an opportunity for me to marvel at the creation of my Father and a reminder to me, of the exquisite masterpiece He has created- me! You know, many times we expect certain events to play out in a  particular way and to our disappointment, they go in the exact opposite direction. I have learnt that God is who He is- God. Man may see the occurrence of something as a total failure but to Him, the film is rolling out just perfectly. In these times, most especially, I am learning to say nothing. Saying nothing, not because I have nothing to say, but because of the still small voice which tells me to be silent and watch.  I will always say, God is working.  In the end, everything will be perfect accord
